Sir William Shakespeare (26 April 1564 – 23 April 1616)

The William Shakespeare, born on 26 April 1564, was an English playwright, poet, and actor and the world’s greatest dramatist in the English language. He is often called England’s national poet and the “Bard of Avon”. He was born in Jhone Shakespeare’s (father of William Shakespeare) house. The actual structure of the house was shown below :

John William Shakespeare, who was an English businessman, (father of William Shakespeare) house, was Shakespeare’s birthplace, in Stratford-upon-Avon. John William Shakespeare was born in 1531 and died on 7th September, 1601. William Shakespeare’s mother name Mary Shakespeare (maiden name née Arden; –September 1608. She was born in 1537 and died on September 1608,

When he was 18 years old, He married, in November 1582, 26-year-old Anne Hathaway born in 1556, who was then pregnant. His wife was older by 7 years than him. On 26 May 1583, the couple’s first girl child (Susanna), to whom she gave birth six months later. The twins were born Hamnet (son) and Judith (daughter) in 1585. Hamnet died at 11 years old during one of the frequent outbreaks of the bubonic plague and was buried in Stratford upon Avon on 11 August 1596. Anne Hathaway died on 6 August 1623.

Holy Trinity Church

Here, William Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616 and was buried two days after his death and he was survived by his wife and two daughters. It is situated on the River Avon, 91 miles (146 km) north-west of London, 22 miles (35 km) south-east of Birmingham and 8 miles (13 km) south-west of Warwick.
