            1. Walmart ( Best companies in the world by revenue)–U.S. 

Walmart Stores Inc. (abbreviated as Walmart) is a public limited company in the United States. The company operates stores in different countries of the world. The company was founded in 1962 by Sam Walton, in Rogers nearby, Arkansas and incorporated on 31 October 1969 in accordance with the Delaware General Corporation Act. Walmart is the world’s largest retailer. It is also the largest of such organizations in terms of income. It was founded by Sam Walton in 1972 and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1982. The company is wholly managed by the Walton family. Sam Walton’s heirs hold over 50 percent of Walmart share through both their holding company Walton Enterprises and their individual holdings.
