A man from Newark N.J. was talking with his wife over telephone suddenly JFK went out in hallway and came to booth . He immediately handed phone over to Kennedy
and told his wife
‘Here’s Senator Kennedy.’
Kennedy took phone, asked wife,
‘Do you take good care of your husband?’
He said later,
‘I don’t know whether she believed me or thought I was drunk’ when he told her the voice was Kennedy’s.”
