Today I visited in a pizza restaurant . I hadn’t eat pizza for a long time. So I thought I should try some new delicious pizza . I tasted pineapple pizza
. And it was really awesome. Extremely mouth watering. While I was eating , I was surfing about pizza facts. I was surprised to find few interesting facts about pizza.
I can’t resist myself without sharing those facts with you.
1> pizza was first made by Greeks . They prepared flat round shaped bread topped with fresh vegetables and olive oil. Probably Pizza came from this .
2> First commercial Pizza was prepared in Naples, Italy, in 18th century (1738) . By the mid 18th century , commercial pizza was available in almost every street of Italy.
However Naples was first to build commercial pizzeria.
3> Cheese was first added in 1889 by chef Raffaele. He made those special pizza for Queen Margherita. Margherita pizza still famous which is full of cheese, basil, tomatoe sauce.

5> Pepperoni is the most favorite topping in USA. 251 million pepperoni topping pizza are sold every year, Which is almost 36 % of all ordered pizza in a year.
6> In United States Of America almost 94 % of people eat pizzas once in a month.
7> American eat most pizza in Saturday than any other day of the week.

9> Tomatoes pies pizza was first pizza which was prepared in USA.
