Angel Falls

  • The name of the falls followed the name of Jimmy Angel who was American bush pilot . Jimmie Angel died on December 8, 1956. His family had scattered his ashes over this falls on July 2, 1960.
  • It is situated in Canaima National Park, Venezuela. It is one of the attractive tourist spot all over the world. The falls are situated in a separate jungle.
  • It is the highest water fall all over the world. Its height is 15 times of Niagara Falls. It has height 3,212 ft and a plunge of 2,648 ft. It is more than ten times taller than Iguazu Falls which is most important Fall of South America. It has bottom base of 150 meters.
