Vikas Uppal
Vikas Uppal, alias vicky, was the tallest man ever in India and Fourth tallest man in history(Robert Wadlow was the 1st tallest followed by John Rogan and John F. Carroll). His height was 8 ft 3 inch in 2004 and rediff news claimed in 2005 that his height increased to 8ft 10 inch and weighs 210 kg ( if this was genuine then he would become the 2nd tallest )..
He was born on 1986 , in Haryana state, Rohtak district.
He was first noticed in a public rally 25 September 2006 held by the Indian National Lok Dal. The Hindu news paper published his photograph and this brought him to everybody’s attention.
Indian News paper claimed that he was the tallest living man in world, but Guinness Book of Records did not measure him.
How ever his hand 13″ and feet 19″ long. He had Two siblings one brother and one sister. They all depended on three buffaloes.
As his growth due to a tumor of pituitary origin doctor decide to operate but the operation was not succeeded and he died onJune 30, 2007
