“It is evident that glory and victory belongs to those who urge for it and work’s hard for it” but there are facts which is weird than truth itself that success itself come’s along with death same type of incident happened on the horse race course of Belmont park on long island . It was on the year 1923 on a hot sunny day in the month 4th June when the gun was fired in the air to begin the race then history of sports witnessed a new but unexpectable end.
Sweet kiss took off with its jockey Hayes from the gates of Belmont park with a promising start to finish off with a victory note but destiny has something else had in store for him while he reached the finish line for the last lap the only sweet kiss was only alive not its jockey Frank Hays only the taste of victory was with kiss not Hays as just a few minutes back before kiss crossed the finish line then Frank Hay’s was died due to heart attack and the jockey fall from the saddle and lay on the ground lifeless .
The main reason of his heart attack or his death was a result of severe and rigorous training for putting on the weight along with high excitement resulted the end of a winner.
Later on he was dressed on with a colourful ring of silks .After three days’ time he was buried.
After that Belmont jockey club was declared the winner.
